What is included in the price? All our prices include shipping. The price you see is the price you pay (except for Massachusetts sales tax, which applies only to MA residents). No extra shipping charges will be added, no matter where you live in the world. All print shipments within the US are traceable, and you will be provided with a tracking number at the time of shipping.  Prices are for the print only. We prefer not to offer matting or framing, since individual preferences vary so much. You will be more pleased if you can choose the frame yourself at a good frame shop.

Delivery. Most prints are made to order, one at a time. Delivery normally takes about two weeks for the above sizes, and longer for custom size prints . Please inquire if you have specific needs.

Payment.  We accept all major forms of payment, including personal checks and money orders.  If you wish to pay via credit card, we will be happy to send an invoice via PayPal.  To inquire about placing an order, please use the information on the Contact page.
Options. Print sizes up to 48 by 96 inches are available by special order. Prints are normally made on a baryta coated fine art paper with archival pigment inks. We can also print on a range of materials such as watercolor paper, canvas, and super-glossy papers.   Prices will be adjusted accordingly, and will reflect the extra costs of advanced image processing.

Notes on the prints

Quality. After spending many years in the darkroom, Ivan Massar has now chosen the pigment-ink printing system for its ability to reproduce the subtle differences in tone that characterize his best images. These museum-grade prints on baryta coated low OBE paper exhibit superior sharpness and tone, and are expected to last sixty years on display before any noticeable fading occurs. Due to operating system and screen differences, and sometimes more elaborate image preparation done prior to printing, there might be tone and lightness variations between the image you saw on the web and the print.

Guarantees. Ivan Massar individually inspects and signs each print and are so we are confident that you will be pleased with the quality that we offer three guarantees:

  • Replacement guarantee: We take all the necessary precautions so that your photograph is not damaged during shipping. There is simply no shipping risk to you: we will replace at no charge any print that has been damaged in transit.

  • Lifetime fade-free guarantee: As we are confident in the archival qualities of our materials, we will replace at no charge any prints which have faded during the lifetime of the original owner.
Inscriptions.  All prints are individually captioned with the location and date, and signed by hand in the bottom border. You can matte the print with or without the inscriptions, since they are not in the image area. Personalized inscriptions are possible.
